Miranda Pasky is a recent graduate from Monmouth College in Monmouth, Illinois. She graduated with a 3.87 gpa and a double major in Fine Arts and Business Administration. After growing up in a small town in California called Paso Robles, she moved to Texas with her family. Miranda always had a passion for art, even from a young age. This passion is what led her half way across the country to get a degree in Fine Arts. She began drawing on every piece of paper she could get her hands on, then moving to water color, and eventually falling in love with oil panting.
Miranda is also very passionate about Swimming and Water Polo. She had played all throughout high school and up until her senior year of college. Unfortunately, she had to retire early due to an injury in both of her hips that required surgery. Throughout her career as a captain of both teams she had achieved many things such as: Swimmer of the Meet, Rookie of the Year, Athlete of the Week, MVP of Swimming and Water Polo, Second Team All CIF, First Team All CIF, Second Team All American, First Team All American.
Outside of the pool and the classroom, Miranda was apart of different organizations that allowed her to create and run different activities for the community. Through the Student Athlete Academic Committee, Miranda was able to work with other student athletes to put on events such as Special Olympics, Trick or Treat on Main Street, and Swim lessons with the local YMCA. Miranda was also apart of the Art Alliance club as the treasurer. This club allows other artists and art enthusiasts to come together and make fun crafts.
